Fast Grapefruit Weight Loss Diet!

Have you heard of the fast working grapefruit weight loss diet?
Some are already familiar with the grapefruit diet. Several celebrities, such as Kylie Minogue, swear to a 7 days grapefruit-diet to quickly lose weight. She eats grapefruit morning, noon and night.

Recent research has now been able to support the grapefruit’s reputation as a good fight against fat. In a study conducted at the Scripps Clinic in California, researchers investigated the effect of grapefruit on weight loss. They found that intake of a half grapefruit before each meal, can contribute to weight loss. Researchers studied grapefruit capsules, grapefruit juice and real grapefruit. All three seemed to help, but those who ate real grapefruit got the best results.

The mechanisms behind this are not entirely clear, but researchers said the results speak for themselves. In addition it is an added bonus contains grapefruit cancerfighting drugs as antioxidant lycopene. Red grapefruit has also been shown to reduce levels of triglycerides (fats). And the added bonus number three: half grapefruit contains only 39 calories.
